Apply for a Design

The mere act of filing a design application does not mean that it is, or will be registered. All design applications are examined on their merits to ensure that they meet the requirements for registration set out in the legislation (Industrial Designs Act, 2001).

I understand and accept that, unless requested to do so by the Office, I cannot make any changes to the design(s) applied for or add more class(es) & product(s) or representations once the application is submitted. I also accept that any application fees paid are non-refundable.

I acknowledge that details of the application will be entered in the Office’s Design Register and databases which are made available to the public for consultation and inspection. Further information may be found on the Office's Privacy Policy.  

Under the EUIPO’s Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund you can apply for a 50% reimbursement of basic national or EUIPO design application fees. Read more before applying.
