Apply for a Trade Mark
Before applying for a trademark, all Applicants should familiarise themselves with our Guide to Completing the Application Form at https://www.ipoi.gov.ie/en/types-of-ip/trade-marks/the-application-process/guide-to-completing-the-application-form/
The mere act of filing a trade mark application does not mean that it is, or will be registered. All trade mark applications are examined on their merits to ensure that they meet the requirements for registration set out in the legislation (Trade Marks Act, 1996).
I understand and accept that I cannot make any changes to the trade mark(s) applied for or add more goods and services once the application is submitted.
I acknowledge that details of the application will be entered in the Office’s Trade Marks Register and databases which are made available to the public for consultation and inspection. Further information may be found on the Office's Privacy Policy.
The fee to apply for a trade mark covering one class of goods or service is €70. Please note that any application fees paid are non-refundable. Please be aware a further registration fee of €177 will be payable should your mark proceed to registration.
