WIPO announce a call for entries for the 2023 Global Awards

Around the world, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are making smart use of Intellectual Property (IP) to commercialize their ideas and build a better future for us all. The WIPO Global Awards celebrates these game-changing achievements by recognizing exceptional examples of how IP commercialization drives economic and social impact.

The 2023 competition will run from January 16 to March 31. It is open to SMEs from around the world, active in all sectors of the economy – be that technology, agriculture, the creative industries or beyond. Applications using all forms of IP, ranging from copyright, to trademarks, patents, and geographical indications are eligible. 

The winners will receive a personalized WIPO mentorship program. This will help to further strengthen their use of IP, pursue new business goals, and create even greater impact.
